Individual Speech Sessions

Personalized, one-on-one meetings with a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) focused on addressing the unique communication, language or speech needs of a specific individual. This individualized tailored approach allows for intensive, customized intervention that targets specific goals and maximizes progress in the following areas:

Speech Sounds (Articulation & Phonology): Helping children pronounce words clearly and confidently.

Expressive Language: Supporting children in putting thoughts into words, expanding vocabulary, and using sentences to communicate ideas.

Receptive Language: Strengthening the ability to understand questions, follow directions, and comprehend language in conversations and the classroom.

Social Communication (Pragmatics): Guiding children in navigating peer interactions, taking turns, making eye contact, and understanding social cues.

Fluency (Stuttering): Helping children speak smoothly, manage repetitions, prolongations, or blocks, and build confidence in communication.

Voice & Resonance: Addressing issues with pitch, volume, or quality of voice that impact communication.

Early Language & Play Skills: Supporting toddlers and preschoolers in developing first words, combining words, and using play as a foundation for language growth.

Literacy & Phonological Awareness: Building skills for reading and writing, including sound-letter awareness, rhyming, and comprehension.

Group Speech Sessions

A structured, interactive session of 3-4 children led by a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) that brings together individuals with similar communication goals. Our small-group language sessions are designed to help children build real-world communication skills in a fun, supportive setting. Led by a licensed speech-language pathologist, each group focuses on strengthening social interaction, emotional understanding, and language for connection.

Children practice:

  • Taking turns in conversation

  • Understanding and using nonverbal cues (eye contact, body language)

  • Initiating and maintaining peer interactions

  • Problem-solving and perspective-taking

  • Flexible thinking and emotional regulation

  • Sharing ideas, asking questions, and listening actively

Through structured games, group discussions, role play, and collaborative activities, children gain confidence and build meaningful connections with others.
